Description: This splendid and spacious house is surrounded by large lawned gardens (shared with the owner) and furnished to a high standard in a comfortable and traditional style. Beautifully set in open countryside, it commands lovely views over the owner's working farm to the mountains of Snowdonia.

The delightful gardens are open to the public under the National Garden Scheme on three days a year and, next to the farm, the owner's specialist nursery houses a fascinating collection of woodland plants and climbers - of special interest to keen gardeners.

Only half a mile from the coast and Plas Menai - the National Water Sports Center of Wales - with superb swimming-pool, facilities and tuition for all water sports and a climbing wall. Caernarfon is a mere 2 miles away, an historic market town with a 13th-century castle and fortified town walls. The Royal Welsh Fusiliers' Regimental Museum is housed here, and there is an art gallery and exhibition center - as well as a good choice of shops, restaurants and inns. Crug Farm is convenient for a huge variety of leisure activities, including tennis, bowls, golf, badminton, squash, walking and riding.

There is good river fishing, and this coastline is renowned for its superb tope and bass fishing. Fishing trips are available, there are boat trips in summer to Fort Belan, and scuba diving can be arranged. Only 7 miles from the nearest sandy beach, Crug Farm is well placed for exploring Anglesey and its many beaches - as well as the Snowdonia National Park with magnificent mountains, dramatic passes and splendid walking on way-marked trails.

Spacious and tastefully furnished drawing room with open fire. Large dining-room with wood-burning stove (see bottom photograph). Both dining-room and drawing room have full-length bay windows enjoying views to Snowdonia. Small but well-equipped kitchen with separate gas hob and electric oven. Separate bathroom. First floor: Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Second double bedroom and twin-bedded room - both with direct access to spacious bathroom (situated between the bedrooms). Second twin-bedded room with wash basin. Shower room and separate half bath.
